Sens Center Sew Days: 1st Wednesday and 4th Monday of each month at 9:00 a.m. at the Sens Center, 200 Briar Ridge Drive in Bellville. These sewing days are open to anyone who would like to come and sew on whatever they wish. There are no requirements other than a desire to enjoy the company of other people who sew and to make some progress on your projects. Tables, chairs, coffee, snacks, ironing board, iron, cutting mat and a few rulers are provided. Bring your own machine and rotary cutter. We meet at the Sens Center, 200 Briar Ridge Dr. in Bellville. The door is unlocked at about 9:00 a.m. If you have any questions about these sew days, call Alison Auckland at 979-357-4424. This is your invitation to bring your project(s) and come join us!
The Tender Loving Care Stitchers (TLC) meet on the 1st Tuesday of most months at 9:00 a.m. at the Sens Activity Center. We sew strictly for charity and would love to have you join us in our efforts to give back for the skills God has given us. We have lots of kits cut out and ready to assemble, easy patterns, and bins of donated fabrics in need of your creative skills. You could even use this time to work on your cuddle quilts. Beginners are welcome. Call Marilyn LaRose at 979-865-5104.
